New appearance of
Vela Rack SDI multi-function recorder
In the exhibition, Science Image displayed its latest research and development results-Vela Rack SDI multi-function recorder. Vela Rack SDI integrates encoding and decoding, program recording, live streaming, optical transmission, TFT touch screen display and control, audio embedding / de-embedding, UVC and other functions. It supports encoding 3G / 6G / 12G-SDI video sources into a variety of NDI formats, and decoding the video in the network environment into HDMI output to achieve efficient video monitoring.
Vela Rack SDI can synchronize encoding/decoding and recording, save high-quality video to SSD and support a variety of play formats. In terms of live broadcasting, it supports the push of SRT / RTSP / RTMP network flow, and flexibly configure internal or external servers for platform live broadcasting.
In addition, Vela has the optical transmission capability to transmit NDI and SRT / RTSP / RTMP flow through optical fiber lines, which greatly improves the efficiency and stability of transmission. Its 3.4-inch TFT touch screen not only provides real-time monitoring and parameter setting functions, but also supports firmware upgrades, making the operation more convenient. On audio processing, Vela Rack SDI supports audio embedding and de-embedding to meet the needs of professional audio production, integrates the UVC function, which greatly expands its application scenarios, especially in the fields of live conference broadcast, remote collaboration and online teaching, providing users with more efficient and convenient solutions.

In the exhibition, Science Image displayed two series of rack devices. Studio Edge, multi-function codec. Flow Edge, multi-function SDI / HDMI converter. As the upgrade versions of Studio2 and Flow2, they are especially designed for efficient video processing.
Both StudioEdge and FlowEdge adopt compact 1U rack design, which not only saves machine room space, but also facilitates centralized deployment and daily maintenance, improves work efficiency significantly. It is worth mentioning that StudioEdge has been successfully applied in the upgrading project of China News Service Studio. With its excellent performance and stability, Studio Edge plays a key role in this important media platform, continuously contributing to the transmission and production of high-quality content.

The Science Image not only showed off the latest development results and rack products, but also a series of classic products: Studio2 4K NDI codec, NDI HD mini HD codec, and Flow2 4K SDI / HDMI converter.
These products are widely used in global projects, especially the Flow series being used in the MSG Sphere project in Las Vegas. The deployment of nearly 50 devices fully demonstrates the strength of Science Image and the enduring charm of classic products.
