Frame-Level Synchronization, Universal Interconnectivity: Science Image’s New Genlock Products Shine at ISE 2026

February 6, 2026 – The world’s premier professional audiovisual and systems integration event, ISE 2026, concluded successfully in Barcelona, Spain. Science Image dazzled attendees with its new Genlock series products—Studio G and Studio Edge G—presenting an innovative ecosystem solution integrating both hardware and software.

With over a decade of deep expertise in AV-over-IP technology, Science Image has consistently remained at the forefront of innovation. The company has built a comprehensive AV-over-IP ecosystem covering encoding, decoding, conversion, recording, device management, monitoring, and routing.

At the exhibition, Science Image not only showcased multifunctional integrated hardware such as Vela SDI, Studio 2, and Flow2 but also fully presented its Dyna software platform series, including Dyna Hub for centralized management, Dyna View for multi-view monitoring, and Dyna Router for intelligent NDI signal scheduling.

Guided by the principles of “lightweight, simplicity, and integration,” Science Image is dedicated to creating a more efficient and user-friendly next-generation production experience for professional AV users worldwide, accelerating the intelligent upgrade of audiovisual workflows.

The highlight of this year’s exhibition was undoubtedly Science Image’s latest Genlock series: Studio G and Studio Edge G.

Science Image’s Genlock products utilize Tri-Level Sync technology:

  • Seamless integration with broadcast-grade synchronization systems (such as Sync Pulse Generators – SPG)
  • Frame-accurate alignment across multiple devices, ensuring tear-free switching, mixing, and recording
  • Professional-grade image stability in scenarios such as virtual studios, multi-camera live broadcasts, and remote production

Studio G is the Genlock-enabled version of Studio 2, retaining all original functionalities while adding Genlock capabilities.

Studio Edge G features a compact 1U rack-mounted design available in 2-, 4-, or 6-channel configurations. It integrates SDI, HDMI, fiber optic, Line IN, and NDI encoding/decoding interfaces, truly achieving “all-in-one connectivity.”

Its core capabilities include:

  • Real-time conversion across all formats: supporting flexible transformations such as 4K↔HD and progressive↔interlaced;
  • Four-dimensional signal interoperability: bidirectional conversion between baseband (SDI/HDMI), NDI, and fiber optic signals without requiring additional converters;
  • Genlock frame-level synchronization: achieving frame alignment across multiple devices to ensure tear-free, jitter-free switching, mixing, and recording, meeting the demanding requirements of virtual studios and multi-camera live productions.

Studio G and Studio Edge G are now open for global order. Please visit the Science Image official website or contact local partners to obtain product brochures and arrange customized demonstrations.

Make every switch frame-accurate; let every signal flow freely.

Although ISE 2026 has successfully concluded, Science Image’s journey of innovation in the broadcast and media industry continues. Moving forward, Science Image will remain committed to the principles of innovation, quality, and service, continuously launching more high-quality products and solutions to contribute significantly to industry development.
